It's not a very common combination of names, so I think it is worth looking further on this.
She is young enough to be mother to Richard and John.

If you put John's name into your address bar and search, there are hits to do with inventions and patents. The information on some sites suggest he is in the Transvaal, South Africa.

Those names seem more than coincidence to me, especially considering Richard's middle name.

Likely descendants I would say.

please can i ask for your advice again,
assuming Pericval married Dorothy naomi Wyatt just before his death in 1942 :
I have found on the incoming passenger list 2/11/1946 and out going list 1947 the following
Dorothy naomi Bonnard born 1906 resident South Africa
Richard Hunter Bonnard born 1939
John Anthony Bonnard born 1941

do you think these are his decendants or a coincidence and where do you think they could fit in
forgive me as i am not a very good at googling unless it is simple, is there anywhere i can find south african bmd

Bit of a clue maybe Maddie...have a google on below name think this was something to do with gold.

Would love to know what he did in Rhodesia
he was a secretary for the British South African Company 1915 to about 1930
backwards and forwards to England and fought in 1stworld war
got all his army history though
Have googled it but most of it is military

I'll guide you through to where he should be,.... but I still haven't found what you need.

In theory we should be able to go to Volume 63 then go to certificate entry 108.
This is not necessarily the same as the image number. ,but once you get an image of a record on screen you can see a handwritten number on the top of the paper ( towards right hand side usually )
That is the number given in the death INDEX.

I tried this with a randomly picked name and then checked his number in the index and it worked just fine, ...but doesn't seem to work for Percival.

On new page click on browse images.
Next page click on Death Registers ( last link on list)

New page will offer groups of years, so we should be able to find him in
1942 which is for Volume 63

but I'm struggling and can't see him.

That is the death index.
Using the numbers written there one should be able to go to the death registers in another nearby section

My husband has found alot for his family there recently using this system and says 63 refers to the volume number.
I think it's going to be trial and error to find him there though.

You should be able to find an image of his death notice, which shows quite alot of information, but I am struggling to find the correct image, ( the numbers should help, but don't seem to :-( )
