In December 1938 it was announced in the House of Commons that in the event of war, a National Register would be taken that listed the personal details of every civilian in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Margaret Price and her marriages are correct I dont have copies of the certs though and I recognise the Testerton Street and Sirdar Road addresses

we live in Malaysia so its now 11pm so off to bed, will check the other detail in the morning.

My main aim is to try to find that I have the correct father William Price and mother maiden name of Rose and Margaret Price so that I can go back on my tree.

I can't find the children in the indexes with the same mother's maiden name, and nor can I find a suitable marriage between William and Julia. It is possible they never married- or we're married to different people.

I can't see Julia in 1911- although it looks like a possible death for her in Kensington in 1914.

If it were my family I would definitely order Margaret's first marriage certificate (to check if father's details are the same, and names of witnesses), and Julia's death certificate (the informant and address might prove useful).

Apologies for not replying earlier

In 1901 census Kensington district 36 , Julia Price, Margaret and Chase are shown with Julia's brother but we cant make out his surname could be Nallor or Wallor but ancestry show it as Walson but cant seem to trace either.

Have not been able to find Julia death so unable to order.

Rose had a daughter and named her Julia so that might have been after her mother.

Will try and find Margaret's first marriage to James Proctor and confirm fathers details.

I looked and The other day. Margaret I have seen the marriage cert and as I said before there are no signatures of the bride and groom or witnesses on it so I don't think it actually took place.

The name is actuall Waller and she is down as Mother to her children and not Sister as transcribed.
