Samuel Hunter Brooks was baptised on the 27th April 1827 in St. Thomas's Church, Portsmouth. He had at least one brother Thomas Adolphus Davies Brooks, don't know anything more but he emigrated to Ahaura New Zealand, Can anyone help regarding either of these two. Can someone please check the nearest Census? Many, many thanks. |

Thank you, thank you. to all that gave their time to answer this question. Very much appreciated. Would I be very forward in asking if anyone could find out when Thomas Adolphus Davies Brooks emigrated to NZ? |

Sorry Kevin I don't think this Brooks link is anything to do with my family. It's funny but the names Thomas, John & William all appear in my family tree line but otherwise no other similarities. I'm still researching a relative named Thomas Adolphus Davies Brooks and he emigrated to New Zealand from England in 1854. If you come across any info on this I would be very glad to hear from you. Thanks and good luck!! By the way my father was a William Brooks. |
