This is John & Grace in 1901, Toronto, Ontario. He's a clergyman so probably the one who died in 1914. |

The Reverend and Grace made a trip in 1909, so must have had a visit home if they were on the 1891 in Canada |

Hi Don't think that would be him I found the family in Berwick Northumberland 1871 but nothing after that so thinking they emmigrated 1875ish |

I've found the above chap on the 1891 Canada census and he was married to a Grace - do you still think he's yours? |

Would this be him in 1911. He seems to be the father of Anna M. Whitson. Trouble is his wife is Grace. Both born Scotland and emigrated 1908, as did Anna M. |

I have a John McAlpine b 1833 Linlithgow married to Margaret ?? they had 6 children George,Celia, john, Thomas, William & Francis 1856-1870 I've found them in 1871 and apparently John died in Ontario canada 1914 |
