Hi again, been doing a bit more research into this family - seems as though the George Ferris that was found isn't correct (father's name isn't mentioned on certificate but occupation is given as butler?!) |

No I agree Maura but I am just producing little results and I find it quite difficult. But thank you. Your help is greatly appreciated. |

I don't know if this is the father, Ferris is a common enough name here. |

Thanks Maura - this is really kind of you. The main concern was that George was born in Saintfield, but the census shows Belfast and Armagh! That is my main concern. Also, have you been able to spot any other siblings? I'm fascinated by all of this new Irish information. |

You would have to buy George's marriage cert to see what information is on it. He's blind by 1911 so that could be a reason why he give up being a barber |

Hi MarieCeleste - I really don't have any more information on William Ferris or Eliza Jane Deans. No birth dates, places or deaths or even marriage. I've looked on Familysearch but nothing jumps out! |

This could be George, but has changed his occupation and his age jumps 20 from 1901 to 1911 |
