The only likely death in 1958 that I can see is this one:-


Name: HARPER, Frances
Registration district: Bromsgrove
County: Worcestershire
Year of registration: 1958
Quarter of registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
Age at death: 74
Volume no: 9D
Page no: 46

This would make the year of birth around 1884 ??????

Even the death in 1958 for Frances R. Harper would make the birth year much earlier than 1916:-

Was it not Frances R Harper's mother Frances nee Bateman who died in 1958 ?

Age: 19 Marriage to Samuel Harper

I think I am too confused with this family now!!

The great grandma was Frances (who died in 1958) and she had a sister called Lilian born 1919 (I think).

Lilian Mary Harper b1919 was Frances' ( who died in 1958) daughter, not sibling.

LOL - you two have obviously been enjoying yourselves, but did you spot that Paula only joined this year (2013) and that this is her first post?

It's just the poster said Frances had a sibling called Lilian Mary.

EDIT - Perhaps Paula has confused offspring with siblings.
