Welcome to GR and the Boards Denise.

The best way to let Christine know of your interest, is to send her a personal message aka PM.

Click on her board name, which in this instance is 'Paul'. As long as Paul/Christine is still has the same email address as 12 months ago, GR will notify them that you are trying to make contact

Good luck!

Hi Christine,
I'm starting to research my mother's side of the family, found this website and saw your posts. I am the daughter of Beverly Whittington. I don't know much about the family, but can maybe fill in some blanks

Hi mgnv

Thank you very much for all your trouble, the Canada side of the family has been quite easy to find ,it is the USA side that has proven difficult.

The first son appears to have changed his name to Allan ,the second son moves around and appears to have married several times and the info on the third son does not tie up date wise.

Burnaby is a suburb of Vancouver - the only hint you get as you go from Vancouver to Burnaby is that you cross Boundary Rd, and it's got to mark the boundary of something, eh.

EDIT - Ooops 1320 Terry is a couple of blocks S of Pike, just E of downtown (just E of I-5)

The birth year on this is wrong:

U.S. Public Records Index, Volume 1
Name: Gordon R Whittington
Birth Date: 22 Feb 1920

The 1930 directory is interesting:

Name: Daisy E Whittington
Gender: F (Female)
Residence Year: 1930
Street Address: 6 Lakeview blvd
Residence Place: Seattle, Washington
Spouse: Alfd J Whittington - Carpenter
Publication Title: Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1930

Same address has Allan F (singer) and Stanley W (pantryman)

What is interesting is that Daisy's 1927 naturalisation gives her address as 1327 Terry Avenue. In 1930 there is a Chas D Whittington (lift operator) living at that address. He must be a relative?

Thank you both for your help.

The plot in the USA just gets thicker and thicker .I am trying to move forward so eventually I can find living relatives.

I believe Alfred Frank changes his names in 1941 to Allan,so it gets more difficult.

Thank you both again.
