hi all, this may be long winded but here goes. am looking for relatives of the above.,. heres what i know. john hall born kent 1882,mum was elizabeth. he joined royaldublin fusiliers to fight in ww1 and was killedin may 1915 is buried in v111a boulogne pas de calais, aged 33. he was a sergeant in unit no.5216. i looked upa census for 1911 in dublin and he lived in 86 francis st as a lodger, the census states he was a labourer. he was married around 1904 in dublin or uk.this is where i got lost. his wife name is jane. he had a daughter jane who was married in1930. he resided in dublin,wasin the british army earlier, maybe whenhe was 18 or so. would love to know who he married. and what part of kent and dublin did he live. many thanks tomas :-(

Do you have his daughter's birth cert or do you know when and where she was born? Her birth cert would give you her mother's maiden name and then you could look for a marriage.

Gives his NOK as his wife Elizabeth
He married a Elizabeth Terrington(looks like) 16/4/1904 Dublin Perhaps someone else can check the name, its on image 107303
but on a pension record for his wife it states 4 children, the children also listed on the image
Mary Elizabeth born 20 aug 1906
Jane 17 March 1913
His personal effects following his death were sent to his widow at 8 Taylors Lane Francis street Dublin
Died of wounds to the buttocks and abdomen

The Service records show that the soldiers parents are dead and ? a mistake -the Soldier has No brothers, sisters dead.
The 1891 census shows 2 brothers as well as 2 sisters
Another address for wife in records - 5 Bow Bridge, Dublin. Her surname does look like Terrington
