MarieCeleste Report 17 May 2013 19:40

The birthplace of Colchester, Essex for her on the 1911 is a mis-transcription - the original image shows the line for her birthplace completely blank.

ADDED @ 19:42
The original image also shows they'd had 7 children, 1 had died.

I'm curious about this, given that they had a Yorkshireman lodging with them in 1901:

England & Wales, FreeBMD Birth Index, 1837-1915

Name: Rose Hannah Clay
Date of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar 1874
Registration District: Wortley
Inferred County: Yorkshire West Riding
Volume: 9c
Page: 236

I note the two census she is on only refer to her as Rose, only 1 census shows a birthplace which may have been assumed as the same as her husband's.

No wonder Rose Hannah was unsure where she was born the way they seem to have moved around!

I'd still suggest certificates are needed to confirm.
