Shirley,
Just been out for the afternoon and seen your comment re Scotlands People! I think we were looking for those Scottish records at the same time, you beat me to posting and I hadn't refreshed my pages, but I had given Ann Details of Scotland's People costings, so I left my post - perhaps that's what she meant. I too went on to use credits for once to look at the actual record, but again you had beaten me to posting, so I didn't bother with that one! Don't want to take someone else's credit. Apologies.

Been out for 30 minutes.

Shirley, I think Ann was probably typing her thanks to Stuart as the same time that you were posting the marriage details.

Well it seems that there must be 2 Teresa's as my Edward did not serve in the military. The Newspaper must have presumed that his address was Walmesley st.
Sarah's maiden name was Cullen not Sweeney.
Thank you all for you help.

Edward's occupation is the same as in the advert looking for Teresa's Crerar's relatives. I wonder where the Cullen in her mother's name came from?

Thanks Stuart,
I think I will Investigate the Scottish records if not just to sort this one out.
Many thanks,
ann.

This looks like the 1956 advert - given the mother's names, I wonder if there are two Teresas?

Scotlands People shows 1 match for a John Crerar marriage to a Teresa Boyle - 1923 Lanarkshire

Scotlands' People is a pay to view site £7 for 30 credits. Info above found "free" by manipulating the site. 1 credit gives Glasgow, Lanarks, District Blythswood GROS Data Reference 644/10/0327
You can view the record for 5 credits

EDIT - too slow, Shirley was there before I refreshed the page. (However, I have given details of costs etc for Ann to have a look herself)

I have just looked up the baptismal register for Liverpool for Teresa 1901.
I have to apologise, on her baptism entry there is a marriages entry to Herbert Tyson in 1934, I should have checked this out before contacting you.
But I am intrigued as too who the Teresa is who has the same parents as the older sister who died in infancy
Thank you once again and I'm sorry.
Ann
