Apols - in the previous thread there is a death mentioned:

Elizabeth Cormack, Bath, December 1884. This would fit with the 1881 census when she was 60, dying 3 years later at 63.

I will purchase her death certificate to ascertain her father's name. Thanks

Hello Clare, could you check your dates - was she really 110 when she died?

You could buy her death cert..............it should give her husband's first name

But.......I think you need to re-think the woman's death year

See the info you were given about that on the other thread

If Daniel married in England then his marriage cert should name his dad

Would you be kind enough to see what you can find on my great great grandmother and father?

I have some details on my g g g/mother - Ealiza Cormack (married name), born 1821, in Ireland, died 1931 in Bath, UK.

I've no knowledge of her husband which is what I'd really like to find details on. I only know he was a jobbing carpenter and there is some connection with India because their son Daniel was born there.

In the 1881 census Ealiza was living in Bath with her son, Daniel Cormack (french polisher) born in 1851, died 1910, born in India, so I am keen to explore the origins of his father but without a christian name, am stuck.

If it helps Daniel Cormack went on to marry Miriam Fisher in 1882 and had my grandfather, Sidney O'Connell Cormack, in 1883

Many thanks
