Hi Jenny

Thankyou for your message.

The information you give all seems to tie in with the information members have posted for you on here.

Prickles. :-)

The only information I have is that Rosa was married to Albert Warbey 1917 on the marriage certificate it gives her father as George Robinson Gardener. She was Albert's housekeeper on the 1911 census but also the mother of his child Albert Warbey.

The 1911 census was fire damaged so there was no place of birth.

She had four more children with Albert. Two of which were born before they married and she was pregnant with the fourth when they married.

She died 21 June 1923 in Kensington of T.B.

Albert was already married to Alice Louise Grubb and I have not found evidence of a divorce

Jenny - you've misunderstood "answered" - you only mark a thread as "answered" when you have the info you require - to remove "answered" click on it again and it will remove it - if you leave it there people are likely to think you have found what you're looking for and then won't bother coming on here

Ann :-)

Albert was still married to Alice when Rose moved in as housekeeper they had a son called Albert in 1910 followed by Henry 1913-1915, Sidney 1915 then they got married and had Rose 1917 and Doris 1921 before she died in 1923 of T.B.

I was under the impression that her mother was Mary Ann Burridge from Tavistock until recently when I spoke to a grandaughter of Mary who had known Mary. She knew Rosa and she said Rosa had married someone else and that she came to her wedding in 1948.

I am left with Rosa's wedding certificate stating her father was George and her death certificate. The 1911 census was fire damaged so there was no place of birth.

PM received .....

Thanks for all your posts, Rosa was not born in Lenham, unfortunately that was the orignal route I took but found out from the mother's grandchild of that Rosa that I had the wrong Rosa. I had this on my tree and other people took the information and now we all have it wrong!

I am back to square one, the information of Ro0sa's birth place is missing on the 1911 census due to fire damage. Unless I am very lucky and find one of her relatives I will have to wait for the 1921 census to find where she was born.

I'm confused here - I've given GR the number of this thread so they can take "answered" off but they say that's not enough info - can someone else either help poster to remove "answered" or give GR what they want, cos I don't understand it at all :-S
