Hi all
Wondering if anyone could help me find 3 brothers which appear to have dissapeared after 1881 census this is what i have
1861 census Hawkedon,Suffolk
James Webb aged 60
Joanna Webb aged 37
Albert Webb aged 2
1871 census Hawkedon,Suffolk
James Webb aged 71
Joanna Webb aged 48
Albert aged 12,Frederick aged 8,Caroline aged 8,Ernest aged 5
Then 1881 they are in Benfieldside,Co.Durham.
James had died earlier in the year,Caroline had married,Joanna was 58,Frederick was 19 and Ernest was 15.
Then in 1886 Caroline dies in Tow Law,Co.Durham at Carolines home with her husband Joseph Robson.I have searched for Albert after 1871 no luck,Frederick and Ernest elude me aswell (they were not mentioned on Carolines death cert)
Has anyone got anything else i can try.

Benfieldside and Blackhill are in my part of the country the are about 2 miles apart it is more than likely this is wife i have checked Webb's births in Lanchester area fom 1881 till1891 usually children are named after family members but nothing shows up,same on Durham Records on line not many more avenues to explore i thought if i could find older brother Albert b1859 it might lead somewhere same as Ernest .
There are no deaths of Ernest Webb or Frederick in bdm site.

i think now i am just shooting in the dark,my great uncle b1912 died last year he was a 101 named Ernest, i asked him once what happened to them he could not remember sadly now there is nobody else to ask of that generation,but i will keep plugging away you never know.

I have been told Fred married Isabella Pattinson in 1881 they had 4 children
James b 1882 on the 1901 census and 1911 census in Swalwell area of Durham.
Josephine b1885
John b1886
William b1888
Fred sailed to USA 26th Sept 1894
Then the other 3 children sailed out Dec 14th 1895
1891 census they cannot be found.
Makes you wonde4 what happened perhaps some can look up
