Hello Angela, just a helpful hint for navigating these boards - over on the left of these screens are some menus. There is one headed "Tools" - under that is a link called "My Threads", if you click on that it takes you to all threads that you've started or posted on. When you have a further query about a family that you've previously asked about then just find the relevant thread and add to it - that will move it up to the top of the boards.

You are welcome Angela.

I am sure that you are forgiven for starting so many threads but as you have seen, it does complicate things for everyone, including yourself, if you don't keep all the info together so that it can be seen what has already been researched and what info has been found or discounted. This prevents people from getting irritated by spending time and effort looking for things which have already been found.

I think all the above now fits very well with the people you are looking for but you would be best to invest in a couple of certs to prove that it is all correct.

Going back to Donald''s middle name of 'Lovering' - I knew it would come in useful one day !! :-D

This fits with the Frederick J on the 1911 census above and he also works on the railways by 1901 (although only as a porter at that time)

Why do you think the boys had different fathers please? If you buy the birth certificates you'll get the father's name. When was Norman born?

I am wanting to know about their 3 sons ,cannot find anything about them ,Donald ,Kenneth and Norman [my Dad ] ,other people have tried but they cannot find connection with both parents ,were some adopted ? did they have different fathers ?
