On the 1881 Census for the Martin family in Platt Lane visitor is Elizabeth Watson Aged 26yrs born in Scotland with her daughter Sarah Jane born Wigan 1879 . Lancs BMD have birth of a Sarah Jane Watson in Wigan 1879 mothers maiden name Martin.

Lancs BMD have a Susan Martin born in Wigan in 1870 mothers maiden name Hannah which matches in with the James Martin born 1866 Wigan mothers maiden name Hannah - may be worth looking for Mary Ann c 1864 and Elizabeth Martin c 1855 with mother JaneHannah both births in Scotland ?
