Gins, there is a correction on that message board thread, which suggest Angus' birth was 1880 not 1830 :-)

Wow thanks for all your replies. In answer to Rambling Rose, yes I have tried to find Queenie before with no results so far but this was trying to find the Father to see if that would give a lead. Yes I know Queenie married Lawrence McQuiggan, one son also Lawrence (Angus) born in Southport (it is thought he was left with grandparents in Scotland where he grew up), 2nd son Donald born in Scotland, I spoke with him recently (he is 92) said his Mother said very little didn't know why he was born in Scotland only his name was changed to Exon. (His grandchildren have also been searching) Queenies 2nd marriage to Henry Exon (his first wife Andrews died in childbirth) who had 2 children, and yes they lived in Gatton Rd Bristol. They had a further 3 children. In our research we have looked at Angus & Minnie Dale and thought they are a good match also the Rose-Love-Fulton Dale. You have given some more leads-will work on them. Thanks

Hi Patricia
Not sure if you're still looking, but we've just found some old adoption paperwork relating to our mum. Her birth name was Eva Eileen Morag McQuiggan and she was born in Bristol in November 1927. On her adoption certificate, her mother's name is shown as Queenie Rubelar McQuiggan, formerly Dale.

Unlikely that Patricia will be expecting a response now.

Click on her name to send a mesasge, about which she will be notified if she hasn't changed her e-mail

She will then be able to choose whether to respond.
