I have a relative George Hall b abt 1865 and his wife Eleanor emigrated to South Africa abt 1902 possibly 2 children George/Eleanor could somebody with a sub try to locate it please, i have no idea which port they left but orignate from Northumberland

Do you have any other information- there are many George Halls on passenger lists to South Africa.

Perhaps you could post the last uk Census that you have them on so we have an idea of Eleanor's and the children's ages and George's occupation.

A tree on Ancestry has Eleanor's death in Australia. I'm just about to go out but, if no-one else has answered, I'll take a look first thing tomorrow.

That tree on ancestry has this for the daughter, Eleanor. I have no idea how accurate the information is though.

I also don't see how Eleanor could be with George on the Aussie Electoral oll about 2 years after that tree says he died? :-D

Searching 'Trove' (vinera vineyard) family notices for William Dugdale Edwards (Brother of Charles) she appears as Nell, with Charlie.
