I know 2 of the brothers , John and James, didn't know any other brothers apart from Luke who would have only been 16 at the time.

I know of a couple of cousins , one Patrick O 'Hagan who died 1917 in France will have to check on the others.

Just had a look at that request, If it is the same Isabel who is asking about Luke Malley then I have just yesterday made contact with her but as yet she has not replied.

I haven't got Ancestry so I have taken this from the website I mentioned.
There is no number for James, he was with the Seaforth Highlanders.

John is 58972 Driver 115th Bty RFA ,

Daniel is 1757 Private 7th Battalion HLI.

Isabel Elizabeth Malley 7/1/1927 38 East Rose Street Glasgow Luke Malley - Railway Engine Driver

Just looked at another brother to the Malley's , Luke b 1899 married 1924 in Calton, his address was 38, East Rose Street , so must be correct.

Could you possibly look for their service records if any please.

They are John Malley d.o.b. 1892 .died 1916
James Malley d.o.b. 1894
Daniel Malley d.o.b. 1893.died 1915

Parents are James and Elizabeth nee Butler.

For some reason both Daniel and James also have the address 38, East Rose Street as well as 31, Kirk street .

That is the site Chris but sorry should have mentioned the names of my relatives, they were John , Daniel and James Malley, parents were James Malley and Elizabeth nee Butler, Elizabeth Butler being Henry and John's cousin.

I don't think that John Butler is one of mine.

Still on the look out for John Wright but so far no success, but whilst looking came across a site for soldiers who died in WW1 called WW1 Roll of Honour for the fallen of Bridgeton, Calton, Dalmarnock, and Mile End.

Makes very poignant reading, it lists the soldiers ages , where died and n.o.k and addresses if known.

I found 3 relatives , all brothers connected to my Butler family who died within months of each other , they were nephews to Henry and John Wright and all resided at 31, Kirk Street , so another branch of my tree to concentrate on.

29 May 1922 - Yorkshire Post and Leeds Intelligencer - Leeds, West

Following upon inquiry the police arrested John O'Hagan (24), unemployed labourer, in the house of a Mrs. Butler, at 31, Kirk Street. It is alleged the dead woman was shot about midnight in Mrs. Butler's house, they were discussing Irish politics.

I wonder what the sentence was 'cos he went on to marry if it is the same John.

Son of Alexander and Eliza Wright, of 59, Wigton St., Glasgow. Born at Glasgow.

Just looked at 2 deaths in Hillhead, for John going by his d.o.b. and the date of death
but again, not him .

you may be right about the shooting in Kirk Street involving John O'Hagan as I have just found that Kirk Street was renamed Stevenson Street , the same address as John's marriage cert.

I don't think the Jeanie and Robert Wright are connected to my Wright's , although i am not certain.
There are a couple of Robert Wright marriages on SP, one to Jeanie Cairns and the other to Jeanie Orr in 1905, One in Blythswood and the other in govan.
