Yes - family claim we were originally 'Hourihan-O'Brien's. (another researcher John Hourihan (now d) had seen this name on his father Timothy's b cert ... parents had 'dropped' off the 'Brien'. lived in 'dessergness' (excuse spelling!)area of Cork.

I think Val may be referring to the O'Brien/ Brien surname as the hyphenated name...eg O'Brien and Hourihan or Briien and Hourihan

There are too many Mary Leary' showing and it's impossible to know if any of them are your girl without any other information such as parents

As for the double barrelled surname, nothing showing at all
