Unfortunately the age at death is only as accurate as the person reporting it.
You will often find it's an estimated age, even the person themselves might not have been aware of their actual birth year.

On Ann s death certificate it says she is 83 ,so it would mean she was born earlier than 1811 or 1812 otherwise she would be 70 on death.

sorry I forgot that on one census it does say Dartford but on the others it says Market Harborough on free reg it says she was born on the 1 Nov 1841 and was baptised 11 april 1852 her mum was Ann and father Wiliam.

My phoebe shaw is my grt grt grand ma.she married George Gibbs Tonbridge in Kent 1 jan 1840 on all the census phoebe was born in market Harborough in 1842 but she was born in 1841 her and George had my grt grandma Emily and five other children on the census it says Phoebes mother is ann from Doncaster on her wedding certificate it says her father is William.

How about PHOEBE SHAW..baptised at Shepshed Leicestershire 29.05.1842..does not preclude her being BORN in Market Harborough..parents Robert and Phoebe.......having a mother Ann from Doncaster?? seems rather less likely??
Just an idea!! Derek....EDIT..according to the 1851 the Phoebe Shaw who has a mother called Ann from Doncaster was actually born in Dartford Kent!!
The father of Phoebe Shaw ..James Shaw was born 1800 in Market Harborough.....he married a Yorkshire girl Mary..but not from Doncaster..and their saughter PHEOBE ANN was born 27.4.1842 and baptised 29.05.1842..............earing in mind the facts in the 1851 Census shown above............do you have the correct Phoebe Shaw\// nad should you be looking for a birth in kent ?

Thanks chris.I wish I knew anns last name. I noticed on anns death that she was 83 so that would make her being born in 1798 but on everything else she was born 1811

Well not seeing a Birth, perhaps wasn't registered!...

(but as I missed that Baptism, don't trust me, lol)
