Grateful for info. William may be a son of Thomas (died Thomas St 1845) as William listed as a bootmaker of 92 Thomas St. per Slater 1846. William also listed in 1851 Dublin census at 11 John St. West - daughter Eliza died in this street 1850. Would they have lived and conducted business at the same address at that time ? Plus Joseph witness at the marriage. Bill.

Eringobragh1916 Report 3 Jan 2018 09:38

it would be more than likely the bootmaker "shop" was run from the home...The owner of the shop according to the Voters Reg.was Thomas Madden.
John St West is only about a five minute walk from Thomas St. as the crow flies.

You can seeall the Lanigan/Lanagan' living Dublin on this site....note Patrick at no 86.
