I'm wondering if this family might be relevant.
There is a couple David Law Anderson & Margaret Lister who married in 1804 (Markinch) and had the following children:
Elizabeth (1805), James (1807), David (1812), John (1814), Euphemia (1816) & Henry Normand (1820). Henry Normand Anderson married Helen Witherhead, so I wonder if there is some connection there - maybe some misinformation on one of the certificates.

This could be the burial of Margaret Lister Anderson.

MARKINCH BURIALS 1799-1854

LISTER, MGT (66): spouse of David Anderson at Dysart Coal-hill; 6 Oct 1847; feet to Andrew Buist's stone

which could possibly be this couple living with a family of Burtts. I have edited out all the Burtt children.

Thanks, I think you could be right & that definitely looks like the burial.
Interesting, the other side of my family are the Rae's, also from the same region, and one of them married a Burt.
Small community I guess.
