I couldn't see Louisa on the 1939 register at the above address, but there is mention in the newspaper of a Mrs L Mason picking a strawberry from her garden at The Cobbles at the end of September 1945!

Baptism Place Notting Hill St Mark Kensington and Chelsea, England

Still need to figure out where these names are coming from. The only one's that show in CLARK family are LOUISE and MARJORY so far.

Thanks,

Hi Shirley,

Thanks for the WILKINS census 1901. None of their children have names that appear in the CLARK family, but maybe they are from the WILKINS side. I will investigate to see if I can be certain this is the Marjory CLARK in my tree.

Thanks!
Rebecca

Rebecca

Rebecca Report 21 May 2018 10:59

Yes, Shirley, that's the 1891 census I have for the family.

I'll take a look at that marriage find you have to see if I can trace a Marjory HAYWOOD or Marjory WILKINS after 1896.

Looks like Gilbert George HAYWOOD married Caroline Amelia JEEVES:

Forename Surname Age Year Born Relation Birth Place Occupation
Gilbert Haywood 27 1874 Head Ealing, Middlesex Decorator Paint
Caroline Haywood 27 1874 Wife Madras, India
Gilbert Haywood 4 1897 Son Ealing, Middlesex

I think this may be William Thomas CLARK b1853 in 1901 census:
Class: RG13; Piece: 440; Folio: 116; Page: 9
Stated as veterinary surgeon, single, living with housekeeper in Battersea at 9 Park Mansions.

Thanks,
Rebecca
