Looking for the above born 1938-39 in Lambeth London. Her parents were Charles & Ivy Gough (nee Field). I believe she married & settled in Leicester. There was also another sister called Sylvia. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure the birth for Barbara Gough is the right one - completely different place, as well as not the year Angela thinks.

Sylvia does appear to have a sister born 1938 -- but not named Barbara.

I wondered about the different area too ArgyllGran. Perhaps mother and children were evacuated.

Ivy won't be visible on 1939 - she didn't die until 2004

But there's no closed record with Charles in 1939 - if I've got the right record for him.

Ivy and child(ren) must be living elsewhere - they would all be closed records, so maybe their household just won't show up at all.

Possibly evacuated - to Leicestershire, perhaps?

But, until and unless Angela returns, we're speculating

Charles Edward Gough left Ivy & met Rose (****************) they had a son in 1948 also called Charles Edward Gough. We only found out recently that these siblings existed & I'm trying to find out more about them & if they are still alive. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Angie Gough

Unfortunately there are too many people with those names to be able to identify records for any of the three siblings, apart from their births.

The most likely way to get info would be to get a copy of Ivy's death cert - odds are that one of her children was the informant.
