Susan/Catherine - can you give as much detail as possible please about your Father to help us help you.
eg.
Where does the Taylor Rees fit in your Father's name if Aunty was a Taylor. Is that a Taylor-Rees or is Taylor a given name?
when was he born
where was he born
Do you have any idea who his parents were

How old are/were cousin Robert and Auntie Ethel

Did your parents marry - his marriage certificate to your Mother should name his Father

Where is Thornaby - ? Thornaby on Tees in North Yorkshire

Hello,
I have been trying to trace my father's side of my family tree, but didn't know much about any of his relatives. Apart from a cousin called Robert Taylor (uncle bob) who had been in the Merchant Navy, and an aunt of his, Auntie Ethel, who lived in Westbury Street in Thornaby, and is on my Christening certificate as my Godmother. This was in 1952!!

My name is Catherine (nee)Rees

My Father's name was William Taylor Rees
I hope someone may be able to help.
