If, as you suggest on your other thread, he has changed his name, it will be virtually impossible to find him.

15th Ocotober 1947 I believe.

His was was my nan. She is still alive but she has no clue where he is or if he’s even alive. The only things I know about his was his Birthday, his real name, possible changed name and his mother’s name. This is why it has been so hard to find him. No one has had connections with him in the past 40 years. However I last heard he was in Sussex about 20 years ago and that’s been it since then.

One of Willy's offspring appears to have had two children, born in Kent, 2001 and 2005.

Are you in touch with his children from his second marriage?
You say "nobody knows" anything about him - does that include them?

I'm confused - you said Sarah was your grandmother, but on re-reading your posts, it sounds as if your Nan is Maureen, as you say she's still alive.

Yes none of our family from his first marriage have never met or been in contact with his family from his second marriage. All I know is that he has some children who were possibly bought up in Hastings, Sussex. However, as I have heard he could have changed his name I have no idea as to who or where they are as I don’t know what names to look for etc.

You said Sarah (born 1911) was your grandmother - but Willy, your grandfather, was born 1947? Perhaps I've misunderstood.


Re where to contact the children from his second marriage -
as already said, they are on electoral rolls.

The house where Michelle was living in 2007 (per ER on Ancestry) hasn't been sold since 1995, per 192.com, so unless she was only renting it, chances are that she's still there.

Those are the children from the first marriage, to Maureen, and he's maybe had other later children whose surname you don't know.
