She seems to have had 'a thing' about sailors/seamen....................

John Adderson who she married in 1908 was a seaman:

On page one, Dea - but confirmation is always useful.

For some reason it seems that John Morgan called himself Albert Leonard in 1901 and on the 1902 birth registration.

Apologies Erika - I seem to have missed that one !!

i will take a further look..............

No probs, Dea.

The births of children after Albert are registered as Morgan - obviously something less-than-honest going on. Intriguing................my lot are boringly conventional.

Erika,
I did take notice and yes year doesnt match, thank you for pointing that out, and I'm so confused now lol, looking through everything I'm wrong somewhere, Alma Morgan is my partners great grandfather but searching through all records and census they state his father was John Adderson and haven't a clue where this surname has appeared and why i cannot continue with the Morgan surname. I thought Jane Ewers must of married John Morgan as well as a John Adderson but that seems to be confusing now lol
Thank you for all your help

Heather83 Report 7 Mar 2019 19:41

I've just seen other comments, so Jane ewers did marry at least twice?

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 7 Mar 2019 19:45

Jane Ewers DID marry both men - as I've shown

She must have lied when she married Adderson, as she should have married as Morgan.

Alma Morgan's birth is posted on page one - no confusion there, unless there was more lying by his mother. Get a copy of the cert to see who registered it

Check all the BMD records yourself - on freebmd

Thank you, So with all this information I'm gradually going through, John Morgans mother couldn't be Bridget Brian unless she was in fact 9 years old when she gave birth to him.
