Both twins sadly died same year.

George Johns was born in 1898.

Found a death in London City 9/1953, age 54.

I think George E Johns died in Liverpool in 1961. He's still listed at the family home (65 Hardinge Road) in 1955 on the electoral registers (with a Mary A Johns), and still there in 1960 (listed on his own). I don't think he moved to Middlesex with Margrethe.

Maybe they divorced and that is why she went back to using her last name?

Or she may have just changed her last name without divorcing- but it definitely looks like they separated.
