Skegness is in East Lindsey District Council area.

This link to their website refers to the current Electoral Register, but if you contact them they could tell you where the Register for 1937-39 are kept.

But bear in mind that ERs are arranged by street name, not person name. You would have to trawl through the whole Register, and would also have to know the Baileys' first names to find them. Bailey isn't an uncommon name.

There were several Bailey households in Skegness in 1939.

In 1939 as was said Minnie lived in Skegness she had Peter in 1937 so between the to dates she gave Peter away but still used to see him occasionally he lived in Skegness with his new parents is there any way to find out where he lived they were name Bailey there was no fathers name on peters birth certificate

Yes.

MargaretM posted the births of four Carnall / Button children on page 1, including Barbara.

A tree on Ancestry says she married Samuel Joseph Blader on 22 May 1976 at Niagara Falls.
No children shown on the tree.
However, it says Samuel died in 1984.

She had previously married in 1951:

Marriages Dec 1951 (>99%)

SHAW Bernard CARNALL Spilsby 3b 907

They had a daughter in 1952 in Spilsby - you can see the details on FreeBMD.

There were two other Shaw / Carnall births, in Yorkshire, 1958 & 1960, but they are the children of a different Shaw/Carnall couple.


Bernard (born 1928 ) died in 1975, according to the tree, but doesn't say where..

Another tree says he died 3 Feb 1975 in Toronto.

So do you think this Barbara is peters sister??

The tree on Ancestry says that Minnie's name was Minnie (Button) Rands, daughter of William Henry Button & Olive Love Rands, seeming to suggest that they weren't married.

"IF" Minnie was the illegitimate daughter of William Henry Button, and "IF" she was born in Radford where William was living in 1911 (BIG assumption), there's this possible birth :
