I'm sorry ErikaH but I can't find the burial again! So annoying. Ancestry is sulking.

Lucy Stallard was christened in 1831 - see Malyon's post above. She was living in Brighton.

This would make her c.55 in 1885.

I'd seen the 1871 possible census for her and it all adds up re Brighton etc., but she is described as an Annuitant. I thought that this was odd for such a young person and no other clues.

Still on the case on this one ..........
