I am trying to find out John James Jones b1906 parents for a lady who got in touch with me from Australia trying to find her birth family as she was adopted when she was 2 turns out she is my second cousin her mother was Mary Maud Jones

I think safc has given the reference for the marriage because if you buy the marriage certificate it should name John's father (if he knew him).

Margaret was born in the last quarter of 1938. If John died in the 3rd quarter of 1937, that would put her parentage on doubt.

I expect safc also posted the marriage details to show location, because you said "not sure where he married" .

I think Florence meant she was not sure where John James Jones was born because she knew the marriage was in Liverpool. The confusion because of the lack of punctuation.

Perhaps the death I found was the wrong one.

If Nora was born in 1926, either her name wasn’t Jones, or she wasn’t Margaret’s child
