There is no Wilfred Pinney on the London Electoral Roll in 1911 or any year around that.

But of course he may not have been in London - he could have been anywhere.
Historical Electoral Rolls for most places are not online.

The only army-related records we can find have already been posted on page 1 of this thread.

The information posted by alviegal, from the National Roll of the Great War, gives a lot of detail.

Very many WW1 army records have not survived.

Thankyou for your reply
Yes I have read the Army records you have mentioned
Maybe his records were destroyed

I was just wondering if he was mentioned in Luton Bedfordshire Electroles, as that’s where he lived ; except when he was in the Army
Thankyou All agian

On Ancestry, the earliest mention of Wilfred Pinney in the Electoral Rolls for Luton is 1918, when he's on the Absent Voters List because he's still in the army.

He and Percy Thomas are listed at 22 Essex Street.

They're both still at that address, and on the Absent Voters List, in 1919.

By 1920 Wilfred is out of the army, and is at Upper Sundon.
There are no other Pinneys listed with him.

He's then at Upper Sundon until 1925.

The National Roll of the Great War gives his address as Upper Sundon in 1914.
However, Ancestry says,
" Entries in The National Roll of the Great War were compiled by subscription. Information for the entries was generally submitted by family members or the soldiers themselves. Information provided was not verified and therefore, may or may not be accurate. "

1926 - 1929, he's at Council Houses, Luton, with Lizzie Pinney in 1929.
1930 - 1937, he and Lizzie are at 7 Hills View.
1938 - 1968, he's at 4 Harlington Street.

In 1968 he's with Elizabeth and John Pinney.
I haven't looked to see who's with him at that address in all the other years (1938-1967).

As he was born in 1894, the earliest he could possibly be on any Electoral Roll would be 1915, because he wouldn't be eligible to vote before then.

Hello everyone how you are all ok

I have been trying to put the Pinney Family Tree Together

But I have come across Arthur Pinney Marriages and they don’t seam to Talley

Arthur Pinner born 1861 Luton Beds— Marriage1882 Luton beds —Eliza Annetts born 1861Chilton Berks
Father William Pinner. Father William Annetts
On 1901 Census Arthur is called Pinney
But one of their children birth Percy Thomas Pinney MM Annetts
So maybe
Arthur changed from Pinner to Pinney

Then the next marriage for a Arthur Pinney

Arthur Pinney born 1862 Luton Beds—-Marriage 1901 Luton Beds —Emma Smith 1882
Father Thomas Pinney. Father Thomas Smith

On the The Census for 1911 Arthur is on there with his small son Percy Harold Pinney 1911—1914
Also Joseph Smith and Harriet Smith nee Pinney
So I just wonder if there are 2 Arthur Pinney born Luton Beds

Sorry to trouble you all again
I found both Marriages on Family Search Org
Bye for now
Olive Jean xx
