What can I say to all you kind people trying to help me besides sorry I jumped to the wrong conclusion when I saw that a Harriett Hickling married a Thomas Hatton near to where my grandfather was born I really do appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Regards Theresa

Harriet's maiden name was Scott.

Her mother was Sarah Barker, who married John Trueman, then was later with Thomas Scott, but apparently not married to him.

It's slightly confusing because Thomas and Sarah's children William and Myra Scott have been listed with mms Trueman, rather than Barker.
