It would seem that Albert’s birth In 1889 was registered in NSW, as was Edith’s

The move must have been after 1896 as the last children named above were born in Victoria, and before 1904 when Emily died.

Erika - the Commonwealth of Australia was only created 1/1/1901 - before that, "Australia" was just a collection of British colonies, so it would be quite proper to say one emigrated from one colony to another.
