	Mary Ann Williams born Skenfrith 1864 according to census returns. Married James Price 1882, married Thomas Lambert 1893/4. I believe I've found her on every census from 1881 onwards but not able to find her in 1871. According to trees I've looked at her parents could be Thomas and Sophia Williams (nee Powell) or a John and Louisa Williams (she may also have been Powell) I am unable to find evidence for either but have recorded Thomas and Sophia as a point to work from which I will happily discard if proven wrong. Skenfrith is close to the Herefordshire border and Williams is , as you know, very common in England and Wales. In 1891 she lived at The Vinetree Inn, Llanvetherine with James Price, Thomas was a lodger. In 1901 she lived in the same place with Thomas Lambert, James price has gone...

	Having problems finding any parish records.. Marriage is based on records from census returns and civil registrations..

	Well the 2 Vine Tree Inn records are what I believe to be correct... The record I've seen for '81 is in Skenfrith Name Mary PowelAge68 Mary WilliamsAge17 Emma WilliamsAge10 Arthur WilliamsAge4 Mary is named head of household. Mary Powell is a relative. If Sophia Williams proved to be Mary Ann's mother, Mary Powell would be the grandmother I believe.

	In the 1881 census on the previous page, the house next door is; Thomas Williams - Head, Sophia his wife plus 4 children. Although Mary is recorded as head at age 17 I'm hard pressed to believe Emma age 10 is her daughter...

	There is a baptism in Skenfrith of an Emma Williams 17 Sep 1870 - parents William and Louisa, and one for Arthur 19 Sep 1876 -same parents.
