I am trying to find the parents of Mary Blackham born abt 1802 Brailsford Derbyshire married John Harrison( s/o John Harrison & Ann Hunt) 22nd April 1822 at Duffield Derbyshire,, she died 1866 Belper Derbyshire
I have searched all the census except 1851 which I can not find

1841 They are living at Norbury Roston Derbyshire,he is 40 years old

1861 JOHN & MARY are living at Hulland, he is a 62 Agriculture Labourer also with them is their Grand Daughter SARAH HARRISON aged 8 years born at Attlow

1871 JOHN is a 71 year old Widower living in Hulland, he is a Agriculture Labourer living near him is his son GEORGE HARRISON & daughter-in-law SARAH (nee Gee)

The Will of John Harrison late of Hulland in the County of Derby Yeoman who died 21 April 1877 at Hulland was proved at Derby by Ralph Hall of Hulland ward in the said County Saddler and John Allsop of Hulland Farmer Executors
Any new information would be greatfully received

I just found on Family Search the marriage of John Harrison Widower to Mary Blackham Widow 22/6/1822 looks like their spouses died very young? I have John born 8/3/1801 & Mary born abt 1802 changes thing completely

1841 shows John and Mary aged 40 so could be aged up to 44, so born 1796/7-1801

1861 shows John b 1799 and Mary b 1795

Definitely not Mary Bates as I have her married to yet another William Blackham 10/9/1816 died 13/3/1878 they had children from 1817 to 1837

I have found a William Ford married to a Susan (Susannah) with children Samuel Bapt 8/3/1797 Mary Bapt 14/3/1802 Frederick Bapt 17/8/1804 all at All Saints Derby

I think you might be right ArgyllGran with John Harrison 1st wife being a Mary Ford because I found a burial for a Mary Harrison 30th September 1821 at Duffield, John Harrison then married a Mary? 22 April 1822 at Duffield thank you

The 1821 burial isn't the right one, unfortunately.
The image on FS shows that the deceased was aged 1.

Yes, she must have died before 22/04/1822, assuming he was telling the truth when he said he was a widower.

However, the parish record of either the marriage (if she wasn't Mary Ford) or the burial may not have survived.

And unfortunately, there seem to have been quite a number of John Harrisons in the general Ashbourne area around the right time.

I think I found my Mary (Parkes) who 1st married Thomas Blackham 1/11/1804 he died 8/4/1821 she then married John Harrison 22/4/1922 ;-)
