Find Ancestors

Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to find the birth of David PAVOTT/PIVOTT/PEVETT s/o Samuel PIVOTT and Mary PIVOTT nee BRAMPTION. This would be on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. David died 29 July 1849 in Sheerness, buried Minster.

O n familySerach 1841 census their is a David PAVETT residing in Bethal Passage, Minster ..... Whatever I have tried I cannot find David on the 1841 on Ancestry.

Either the FamilySearch criteria is different or my eyes are going.

I am really looking to build the family of Samuel and Mary but am struggling. Can anyone help please?

Samuel PIVOTT and Mary PIVOTT (nee BAMPTION) are my 3rd great grandparents on my maternal side. I have really struggled for a long time to get any leads on this part of my tree. When I did my DNA with Ancestry it gave me info to work on which was helpful. I don't have a lot of faith in the person who gave me this info so that is why I'm taking my time and double checking.

I was personally born in East Lane, Bluetown, Sheerness just around the corner from Bethal Passage. In times of yor Bluetown was a naval dockyard with an army barracks. It was a run down area, filled with public houses, abattoirs and brothels. Other than at Minster people were buried on unconsecrated ground. Not a good place to live!
