Just a question I wonder why Thomas Clement Taylor moved to Eastbourne, is there anyway of tracing him ???

Probably just retired to the coast. - as thousands do................if it's vitally important, trace his descendants and ask them. Two of his children are dead, but one seems still to be alive

I think that is the reason Thomas C Taylor moved away all those years away
Yes there is one son still living, I will pass this information on

I don’t seam to be able to put to gether Thomas Clement Taylor born 1902 Lancs
His mother and father and way back
Did his families names change over the years , I can usually sort things out , has any one any ideas PLEASE

You were given FULL info about Thomas CLEMENTS……….IGNORE the Taylor bit when working back. Clear that name from your thinking

I posted info about his parents………..look at PAGE 3. His mother’s maiden name was Kenyon

I have gone through the births etc of Thomas
Thomas started off as Thomas born 1902
Father Samuel Clements he then died
Mother Janet Ellen Kenyon
Marriage 1896
Samuel died 1915

Janet remarried Louise Taylor so that where the Taylor comes into the name

he was born as Thomas Clements.

Then his mother married a Taylor, so he added Taylor on to his name.

Clements Taylor was like a double-barrelled surname, but without a hyphen.
