Find Ancestors

I'm trying to find out what happened to Mary Ann. She was born Walters and the first child of my grandmother (Rose Hannah Morgan) and Theophilus Walters. My grandma went into a workhouse in Abbey Dore and in there teamed up with my grandfather and had a girl Alice Bertha Potter. On Granddads death cert. (1918), Mary Ann is listed, but on my grandmother's death cert. (1922) she is missing. (Her surname was altered to Potter when she was about 3 yrs old). The cert states 2 (two) females deceased. I have the death cert. of Alice Bertha who was born 1891 died 1892. It appears that Mary Ann died sometime between1918 and 1922, BUT WHERE ? The family migrated to Western Australia in 1913/14. No one to date has been able to find out when and where she died or if she ever got married. Somebody must know something about her. I would appreciate some sort of assistance in this matter.

Did Mary Ann travel to Australia with the family?

For info: Abbey Dore appears to be in Herefordshire.

An Ancestry user named Dalinpot35 has added the following note to the 1891 census, re Mary Ann:

"Mary Ann Walters was born 29th Jan 1889 According to her birth cert.
In later life, Mary Ann Walters (Potter) never married one Benjamin Pountney. It was a different Mary Ann ."

Re Alice Bertha:

"Alice Bertha was born Potter. She was the first child of Joseph Potter and Rose Hannah Walters when Rose was living in the work house."

No notes re Rose.

"Rosa is actually Rose Hannah Morgan and her mother was Elizabeth Pritchard. All else is correct. I think the mother had put a stress on the "E" and it sounded like an "A" "
