Hi Jane, Is it Possible to look up in the 1841 51 61 Census. Netherbury Dorset. For George Davies born 1826 Netherbury I have him in the 1871 81 Census and he is married to Jane Davies 1827 Bridport. Living at Bowood Road Netherbury. George is recorded as being a Shoe maker. I'm interested in finding his Parents and siblings. Hi Jane, The first one you gave me for JamesTeagle in 1851 was very interesting as my James also had a wife called Elizabeth, but when I looked up the 1881 census and IGI for him there was both the one born in Shenley as well as mine born in Broughton. I have picked up my GGG grandfather David Teagle in the 1851 census, and wanted to be able to go back further but can not find any other info other than these Teagles which I have found in the 1881 census and assuming they are Davids brothers as they were all born in Broughton. I picked out the youngest one for you to look at hoping he was still at home with his parents. I think that originally my Teagles did come from Shenley, hoping to make the connection.:-) The names are Robert Teagle b ca 1817 Broughton, Bucks. George Teagle b ca1810 Broughton, Bucks David Teagle b ca 1813 Broughton,Bucks James Teagle b ca 1824 Broughton, Bucks I hope that with the above info you are able to find something for me in the 1841 census. Hi Liz, right this one looks promising : 1841 Bedford General Infirmary David Teagle abt 1813 St Mary Bedfordshire (not born in county !!) but obviously no family with him !! again after some detective work, found George was in Middlesex in 1861, and his children were born there in the 40's, so checked Middlesex for him........... George Teagle abt 1809 St Marylebone Middlesex (born out of county) wasn't with any other Teagles though :o( but still no sign of James or Robert in either 41 or 51 i'm afraid...... Sorry.... Jx

I have found him on the 1901 census (he was 37) but I wondered if you could tell me who he was living with, so I can check it is him. As you can imagine there are a lot of John James' on the census! Lucy......................... i have just gone through all the John James b. 1864, on the ENGLISH 1901 to have a look at the occupation ( you can't view it on Ancestry like you can on 1901)as that was all i had to go on, and failed miserably, had the brainwave to actually look on 1901 site to see where he was born / living, and found him to be in the WELSH census !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
