Hi, Could you help me find Samuel CAMPBELL b. 1854 in Scotland (Argyll?) accountant - emigrated to South Africa in the late 1880s/early 1890s - married Henrietta KEELING or KEALING (South Africa?) in late 1880s or early 1890s. - lived in Germiston near Johannesburg - had children Nellie, Charlie and 2 more boys - followed Cecil Rhodes as an accountant to Rhodesia - had daughter Ella and Winifred Joyce? - settled in Durban, Natal (Kwazulu nowadays) South Africa - died in Durban, Natal in his late 60s/70s. PS - there is a story in the family that Henrietta KEELING/KEALING, Samuel CAMPBELL's wife, was a descendant of Captain William KEELING who discovered the COCO (Keeling) Islands while at the command of the 'Red Dragon' Royal Navy ship in 1609, but who knows how the story might have been distorted over 200 years. Thanks for any help you can offer and congratulations on your wedding. Teresa
