Jenny Report 17 May 2005 18:29

Hello Mary, Jess helped me to give these references for 1891 census but couldn't help with images I don't know if you can or not but they were: Edgar Dawson 19,Crew,Male,Southampton,Hampshire. RG12/1730, folio 160.reg dist Plymouth, sub reg dist: Charles, vessel: Lady Constance. The alternative was Frances Geo Dawson 19,Isle of wight,Hampshire,Hantshaving,Boarder,Battersea,London. Did not give ref for this one I'm afraid. This was inresponse to my request for details of George Edgar Dawson on 1891 census born 1874,Ryde,Isle of wight. Not living with parents or older brother in Ryde ,Isle of Wight in 1891. Found him in Hackney,Islington on 1901 as a Hairdressers Manager married to Jane Bernardo living in the Balls Pond Road. He suggested asking someone kind on the boards to help and I hope that you can. Best wishes Jenny
