Thanks Nikki. It is possible that Sarah Ann Farmer's parents were called John and Betsey - but I don't know if that is leading me in the wrong direction. I don't know anything about siblings. Please don't waste too much of your time on it... Thanks again for your help. Regards, Sarah

Maggi As there is no transcription & no facility to search, it's just a case of scrolling through the pages street by street It's unlikely that I'll find your couple. Will keep my eyes peeled for you though! Nikki

Sarah Report 23 Apr 2005 15:56

Hi Nikki could you possibly have a look for Sarah HARSE for me - she was born approx 1851 in Blackford, Wedmore, Somerset and her father's name is George - it's not much to go on I'm afraid, but I'm trying to work out who was in the household in '61 and I can't find any record of her birth as yet. Her marriage cert states she was resident in East Brent in 1870 if that helps, but by 1871 and on all future censuses she was in Mark. Many thanks Sarah

Thanks Nikki - That's two I didn't see! I will let the person who asked for the look-ups know - sure she will be pleased. It's criminal that they charge money for these discs and then half of it's illegible!! Thanks Kaye x

Hi - I've just done a Somerset look-up for someone, but am having real trouble reading the census - thought an extra pair of eyes might help? I'm looking for JAMES CAVILL (Head), EMMA CAVILL (Wife), HENRY JAMES CAVILL (Son) and one other child - in Nailsea, Somerset. The ref is - RG9 1710. Could you take a look for me please and see if you think it's these people. Thanks Kaye x
