Hi Yvonne.

I wonder if you can find the marriages from my Palethorpe ancestors who lived in Fulbeck, Lincolnshire.

James P (born c1794 ) married Mary ?. Their son William(c1831) married Mary Wilcox.

Thank you,

Marylyn (in Australia)

Thanks Geoff and Roger. As you can see my geography isn't very good but i'll bear those names in mind.

Yvonne Report 13 Feb 2005 19:03

Heather, sorry Spilsby and Partney are not in any of the indexes that we have on offer here.

Yvonne

Yvonne Report 13 Feb 2005 19:02

Sorry Barbara, forgot to point out that the dates are backwards on these indexes i.e. yyyy/mm/dd. Looks as thought you have the parents there, and perhaps two of the boys, but none of the girls have shown up I'm afraid.

Yvonne. This is most kind. I don't know if Spilsby qualifies, but I have a Martha Fletcher born in Spilsby in 1837 to John Fletcher and Eliza Brumhead, residing in Partney. Could you perhaps check if there is a marriage between Fletcher and Brumhead in that area for the few preceding years? Many thanks. Heather

Yvonne Saw your list of Lincolnshire Parishes. I noticed Fulbeck in the list. What I am trying to find are some marriages in Fulbeck I have a family of 14 brothers & sisters who were born there and apart from one who died would like to find some marriages. The first one was baptised 1/1/1778 and the last one 1799 so I guess we are looking from 1784 onwards. wondered if you would mind looking up the following please- surname Collins Mary, Ann, William, Versula, Dorothy, George, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nicodeanus, Daniel, Thomas, John, Catherine. Their parents names were David & Ann Collins (although I do realise they don't give parent's names in the late 1700's). Would be really grateful for any help. Best Wishes Barbara

Johnathon, don't know if this is your couple? John Dawson married Frances Clarke on 31st January 1734 at Leadenham.

Hello Pamela, No, sorry my indexes don't go that far east. I am actually not sure which area Spalding is in.

Pamela.

Shannette Louth is about 25 miles NE of Lincoln while all of our stuff is to the south, possibly 40-50 miles from Louth. All I have is: CLARE SARAH SKAITH ROBERT 1759 THURLBY

Shannette

Shannette Report 12 Feb 2005 18:30

Please can you see if there are any Clares about. My ggggrandfather moved to Louth to marry in 1858 and I wondered what brought him from Huntingdon.Maybe some of his family were already thereabouts? Thanks,

Terjon

Terjon Report 12 Feb 2005 16:40

Thankyou Yvonne, I think I have looked on familysearch .org but I couldn't find any thing would I find anything if I went to the Lincoln Library as I might be down there in the early summer? Teresa

Yvonne

Yvonne Report 12 Feb 2005 16:10

Teresa, regarding Edward Linsey, no way of telling from these indexes. Unless you are able to get to look at the actual parish registers, the only place online is probably Familysearch - have you looked there?

Elisabeth

Elisabeth Report 12 Feb 2005 12:17

Yvonne, Thank you so much for looking. The Jacksons are one of my big problems - too many of them and they are appearing in more than one line!! Elizabeth

Terjon

Terjon Report 12 Feb 2005 10:51

Yvonne, is there any way of finding when Edward Linsey arrived in Ruskington and where from prior to 1809? Was he born in Sleaford and who were his parents? Thankyou so much for your help. Teresa
