Julie, This is what I found for you. 1851 census John Mattlass 20 brewer Dina wife 32 sarah daugh 3 living Kings lynn nfk Robert Matlas 40 ag lab jemima wife 39 John son 13 Mary ann daugh 12 James robert son 9 william son 3 james son 10 months living Wayland nrk also found a Phebe Matlas age 72 living with the Jolly family Wayland nfk None on the other spellings. Hi Sally, Thanks for looking, all my Burtons are from Coventry but I have now found that two of the older children of this family were born in Manchester and then they returned to Coventry for the rest. Thanks again. Trixie

Hi Sally, Would you please look up William Burton born about 1806 at Coventry, he is married to a Martha. They had children William, Charles and Joseph that I know of but they may have left home by 1851. Thanks. Trixie

Hi Sally Thanks for the offer. Could you please look up the following: Edward Leggassick or Legassick Born c1829 Brent-Devon Living with his wife Eliza in 1871 but was probably not married in 1851. I cannot find anything about him or his parents. He is not on the 1881 census or 1901 census. Much appreciated and Merry Christmas Alyson

Hi Sally My gt grandmother was clara annie lizzie lily knapman. I know what a name! Born c1883 in Newton Abbot, devon. Think her father was William Knapman born Berry Pomeroy, Devon. c1829. Any relation or help! Thanks

Allan 1851 census Henry Marshall 29 ag lab topcroft Hannah wife 34 shottisham frederick son 6 topcroft elizabeth daugh 5 eliza daugh 3 woodton Samuel son 6 months heckingham emma smith neice 9 living Lodden topcroft. There were 20 hits for Marshall born Topcroft assume some were Henry's siblings. Here if you need me. Sally.
