Hi Tracy, As far as I know Martha married in 1853, and her sister not at all. The birth years could be out by a few years but dad was definitely Robert Taylor. Martha place of residence at time of marriage was Edgington and witness was Sarah Taylor. Thanks for looking, Louise

Hi Tracey, Thanks for the offer of Wiltshire look ups-very kind. Could you possibly see if there is anything on the parents and/or spouses of these, William (c1821 Ludgershall), Maria (c1835 Chute), Stephen (c1837 Chute), Charles (c1839 Chute) and David (c1843 Chute) Phillimore. It may well be spelt Philimore. It is possible that their father was Isaac Phillimore (c1788-1852 Chute) but I have been unable to find anything to prove the link. Thanks for your time. Anything info would be greatly appreciated. Sue H

Thanks for the info Tracy - I've not heard of this Edith before! Do you possibly have an address for her or any more info about her family? or was she living with George? If she wasn't his wife, then it looks as if she could be the sister of George and Isaac doesn't it? Many thanks for your help. Sue

Eames Report 7 Dec 2004 18:52

Susan, It doesnt state whether Edith's his wife or not.. Sometime when it's a sister or any other relationship status it'll shown in the transcription.. So no idea.. Possibly his wife? As for the address, sorry - doesnt show address. Sorry, T
