Could you please try and find the following family in London: James Notman wife - Matilda children: Fanny Ada, George Henry, Isabella, James, Jeanie, Rosetta, Sarah Jane. I also wonder if James' parents were still alive - James Notman and Mary Ann. Thanks, Tracy

Hi Tracy, could you please look up some of my Gercken ancestors - they may well come up under "Gerchen" as they seemed to change spelling during the 1800s. Christopher Gercken, Henry Gercken, Joseph Gercken, also possibly Martin Conrad Gercken, Edwin William Gercken, George William gercken - they may show up in London or Middlesex Many thanks in advance! Julie

LOL I've heard this many times! Of course it was said in nicest way! Hope you have better luck than me in searching as I seems to misplace my O'Learys from Ireland, living in UK in the census (possibly the dodgers!) One day.. will get to the bottom of this.. No doubt that they might be mistranscibed (when does it ever be perfect?) Oh well ;) Tracy
