@SylviainCanada: thanks for your advice. Apart from myself & my OH I have only got surnames in for living relatives or just two initials for inlaws.

@Scozzie: that's quite shocking about that person having your relatives on a public website.

Scozzie...
Are the living people named in Aussie???

It is against the law to collect the names and details of living people in Aussie....
I had my kids details removed from a site,,,where som old aunt of my exhusband had my kids named and listed....

Really? Against Australian law do you mean ? I'm not sure which countries are tied to "The law". Is it an international agreement ?

Back on the subject lol

Ignorance or laziness comes to mind. Some just want U to feed them the info without question. Asking them a question confuses them.

The annoying thing is that U know that they have read your message and ignored it. ;-) :-S

oops, sorry Mushroom, I missed your post

Yes, the people named on the website are in Oz.

I have sent several messages to the person with the website (using the link on the site) and have had no response.

My brother-in-law (whose name and children appear on the site) has also sent messages, no response to him either.

We have both advised the owner of the site that they are probably breaking the law.

My OH was a victim of identity theft a few years ago, so this is really bothering me.
