I can see a marriage for a Mary Weir Birkenhead 1892, but there is a name missing from the index. Haven't pinned down the missing name as yet. I assume this is yours? There is also a Liverpool marriage with a John Coulston and a Jane Weir on the index, I guess not relevant?

Grace Weir/Grace Weir Clouston born 19/9/1890 West Derby 5b 353 baptised Grace Weir 26/6/1891 by James and Mary Weir of 18,Juliet Street.
I think the James Weir is made up as Mary Weir was unmarried.

lizzie Dolce 44 born Ireland nee Elizabeth Weir sister to Mary Jane Weir.

No sight of Mary,Grace or Henry/Harry in 1891
Grace died 1891.

I have all info on Mary Jane weir.. going back to 1801...and 1744 on the other side of the family.. im just stuck on the Clouston side...

This is the couple who baptised Jane Johnson Clouston 1843 and John Spence Clouston born 4/6/1847. of 14,Bird Street.

John Spence Clouston full age a bachelor Customs Officer of 40,Gt Hermitage Street his dad was James Clouston a butcher married Catherine White born @ 1812
They married in Middlesex 12/10/1841 .

Hermitage Street was in Wapping/Tower Hamlets 1841 near St Katherine Docks it is now Hermitage wall E1W 1LW.


Death for John Spence Clouston J/A/S 1848 St George in The East V2 P60.
This would account for Catherine,Jane and John being in Scotland 1851.

Eliza Bennett
Eliza (Clouston) wife born Scotland 1801.
Jane Clouston 1843 niece.

Thanks Chris, I don't know how you got all that info.. how can I find out for sure he is the right one? before I go any further..!! I can't even get hints from him, Grace Weir is Mary Jane's sister.. I have all info on the Weir's..

Perhaps start with Birth Cert. of Harry...you could try that 1892 Marriage...

(the John Clouston, and Family on Census posted, was to confirm he was the one relating to Newspaper Death, and his Daughter Grace, with her Death
His Son, John Brand Clouston, remains there, until his Death 1937, Marries an Isabella in Scotland, 1891, as given on that link from google, which covers that family!)

I have Harry's birth and marriage cert, it wasn't much help to be fair, it gave out his father and mother's name, John Clouston and Mary Jane weir, and I have all info on the weir's, just wish the clouston's was that easy..
