Thankyou Austin that is definitely them in 1918. Not sure about Lucy.

Oh dear I think there was a bit of a change of partner for Lucy unless William Jenkins was her brother

Strange about his death...if he died in 1965 I was alive then and his son had already died?!

AustinQ

AustinQ Report 18 Apr 2018 13:20

Where did you get the death information from? If he was born in 1874 I don't see his death in 1965

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Report 18 Apr 2018 13:22

The list of public an s says William Crane 1921 then William Workman and another person 1934.

That is why I am not sure about the 1927 death

Malyon put the death 1965 one on the other thread

Sorry I put 2 threads on

I'm not sure where your other thread is. Did Malyon give an age for the William that died in 1965:

Was it this death? This William was born c1910:

First name(s) WILLIAM E
Last name CRANE
Gender Male
Birth year 1910
Age 55
Death quarter 3
Death year 1965
District Woolwich
County London
Volume 5E Page 786

https://billiongraves.com/grave/William-Edwward-Crane/7651930
Gravestone gives age of 56
-----------------------

The 1927 death is more likely if your William was born in 1874

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Report 18 Apr 2018 13:46

No it wasn’t that death Austin. Yes the1927 one looks more likely

Thanks AG- so the above gravestone and death is what Malyon posted. So that William was too young to be yours.

I didn't realise about the other thread, I'll leave you to it- I need to get some gardening done
